The Turner Twins are a London based adventure duo who’ve spent the last 15 years pioneering sustainable technology through adventure. Flite, the world leaders in electric hydrofoil technology, approached the twins with a simple idea. Take Flite’s most advanced boards yet across three separate environments; mountains, islands and dunes; to see just how far their tech could be pushed.
Episode One
Mountains
To high and the lake would be frozen, too low and there would be no snow. Winter was coming in fast. The challenges of transporting two heavy Flite boards to a remote lake in the Alps didn’t deter the Turner Twins. Here Now Films delivered drone, in-water and land based production support.
Episode Two
Desert
Shallow water, shifting banks, scorching heat. The adventure began at the Dune de Pilat, Europe’s highest sand dunes on the West coast of France. The Twins pushed the boards to their limits across the wide expanse of the Dune’s bay, weaving between beaches and navigating the channels.
Episode Three
Islands
Huge waves crashed against the granite shores of The Scilly Isles as The Turner Twins readied themselves for the island leg of the series. Shifting tides and big swell made filming here especially tricky. Here Now Films delivered all story development, on set production and post production.
