We’ve just finished an exciting project for AlTi Tiedemann Global, a world-leading independent wealth management platform. They brought us on board to craft a high-end brand film that would capture their unique business model, global expertise, and commitment to innovation and impact investing. From start to finish, it was a collaboration that pushed creativity and delivered a film that AlTi can use across their website, social channels, and investor presentations. Here’s how it all came together.
The Brief
AlTi approached us with a clear goal: they needed a 5-minute brand film that would spotlight their global reach, expertise in strategic alternatives, and their client-first approach. It needed to stand out in a competitive market, while conveying a sense of trust and longevity. We were also tasked with capturing interviews with their CEO and other executives, blending them with stunning visuals and infographics. Oh, and the shoot was set to happen on two continents—London and New York. No pressure!
Pre-Production
As soon as we got the brief, we hit the ground running. Our team started pulling together the right crew and kit for both the London and New York shoots, while working closely with AlTi’s marketing team to lock in the script and visual direction. Given the film’s high-profile nature, we knew we had to nail every detail, from the interview setups to the dynamic infographics that would help bring AlTi’s complex business model to life.
Working with AlTi’s Marketing Associate, Miranda Spiro, was a breeze. She was clear about their vision and open to creative input, which allowed us to craft a narrative that would resonate with their ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) audience. The brief had all the elements we love—a strong story, global scale, and a chance to really flex our creative muscles.
Production
London was the first stop. We arrived at their office early to set up for a day of interviews with the UK team, including executives who spoke about AlTi’s core values and unique approach. We also filmed b-roll that showcased AlTi’s day-to-day operations, helping to bring that global scale, local feel theme to life. Our crew was lean but efficient, which was key for filming in a busy corporate environment.
Next up was New York. We partnered with a fantastic local crew, ensuring that the look and feel of the footage would seamlessly match the London shoot. We handled everything remotely, liaising with the US team on the ground and making sure our vision came through in the footage. Both shoots captured AlTi’s core message—combining global reach with a deeply personal, boutique service for their clients.
Post-Production Collaboration
Once the footage was wrapped, our post-production team got to work. We carefully edited the interviews, adding infographics that illustrated key statistics like $68 billion in assets under management and the scope of their 22 offices across 10 countries. These visual elements were crucial in conveying AlTi’s stature without bogging the viewer down with too much data.
Our team worked closely with AlTi’s marketing department to refine the edits and ensure the messaging was spot on. We also provided them with a series of shorter, social media-ready clips from the main film, helping them to repurpose the content for LinkedIn and beyond.
Challenges & Highlights
As with any production, we had our challenges—like syncing up shoots between London and New York with tight schedules and managing the logistics of shooting in two major financial hubs. But with careful planning, clear communication, and a bit of creativity, we pulled it off without a hitch.
One of the highlights was seeing how well our team, both in London and New York, worked together to bring this vision to life. The client was thrilled with the way the film showcased their global leadership while also reflecting the bespoke service that sets them apart from other wealth management firms.
