A documentary about the Lost Garden’s of Heligan’s ongoing work to regenerate it’s landscape and soil.

The Lost Garden’s of Heligan is a story about regeneration. The garden was lost after the second world war and then reclaimed and restored when it was rediscovered by Tim Smit. Today, Heligan is continuing that journey of restoration by looking to it’s landscape to drive biodiversity gain and heal their soils.

This is a documentary filmed over the space of a year for Heligan. The production was scripted, written and creatively developed by Here Now Films. Here Now Films delivered all production and post production in-house.

The Outcome

The final film is showcased in it’s own room at Heligan Gardens for visitors to sit and watch.

The feedback from the team has been incredibly positive. The production itself was selected to be a part of Good Fest, a nationally recognised sustainability festival in Cornwall.
