Overview
Here Now Films was approached by WordAppeal, a leading communication agency based in Paris, to facilitate a high-quality video shoot in London for their client FDJ, France’s leading lottery operator. The project was part of an International Women’s Day campaign, featuring an interview with Banu Muthu, an Engineering Manager at Kindred. The video aimed to highlight her career journey, experiences as a woman in leadership, and insights on gender diversity in the workplace.
With a tight timeline and a need for a cost-effective yet premium production setup, WordAppeal required a trusted local film crew in London to handle the shoot while aligning seamlessly with their vision and editorial direction.
Client Requirements
- Interview & B-Roll: A single on-camera interview with Banu Muthu, complemented by supporting b-roll footage of the interviewee and the exterior of the building.
- Technical Setup: Two-camera setup (Sony FX6 & FX3 or equivalent) with a professional lighting rig and a wireless lavalier microphone to ensure high-quality visuals and audio.
- Cinematic Look: Filming in LOG with a shallow depth of field (f/2.0 – f/2.8) to create a soft, professional aesthetic.
- Crew Requirements: A two-person team, including a DOP/Camera Operator and a Producer/Interviewer, to manage both the technical execution and interview direction.
- Fast Turnaround: Minimal pre-production time with an efficient shoot day.
